30 PM) Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for building a well-trained team which is passionate about safety, quality, efficiency, and company success o Report to work as scheduled every day, and demonstrate GREAT attendance o Observe standards for breaks, and lunches based on posted time-clock policy o Treat all coworkers with dignity and respect o Provide and accept constructive feedback o Teamwork - Contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; supports everyone's efforts to succeed; maintains a positive attitude; generates ideas and suggestions that improve the team's performance, the efficiency of the process or the quality of the products o Observe all expectations for quality, and safety o Meet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sales o Knowledge of SQF, GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirements.
o Report any/all food safety or food quality issues immediately to supervision o Perform related duties as assigned by quality supervisor or other leadership o Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures o Able to lift 50 to 70 lbs.
Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required.
Conduct audit of production in process and of the finished product to ensure compliance with all product specifications, customer requirements and regulatory regulations.
o Conduct pre-operational inspection of production area after sanitation to ensure adequate cleaning of production line and production area.
o Conduct timely audits of production process and finished products as stated in the QA SOP's.
Ensure process and finished products are in compliance with all product specifications and regulatory compliance o Verify correct lot numbers are being used at the mixing stations and compare with Plex entries.
o Responsible for retaining shift samples and evaluating.
o Collect micro samples of product as required o Conduct equipment calibrations as indicated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as required when the need arises due to broken or damaged equipment.
o Effectively communicate any operational issues to production supervision and to QA Supervisor for corrective action.
o Effectively communicate any food safety and food quality issues or operational issues to the QA Supervisor and/or a member of management to initiate immediate corrections.
o Review and correction of daily shift documentation from QA and production.
o Pulling retains for review when necessary due to a customer complaint.
o Making copies of check sheets and other documents as needed.
o Ensuring that product is placed on HOLD status in Plex when necessary.
o Must follow all plant Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP's), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's) and Safety rules o Miscellaneous duties as assigned o Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste o Notify production lead of any waste issues and/or machine malfunctions o Able to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as required.

o Provide outstanding customer service to our partners o Implement actions as needed to prevent food safety and food quality issues o Coordinate with operations to ensure excellent quality is being produced o Ensure customer specifications are being met through evaluation and immediate reaction o Monitor and ensure that all GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP are met at all times o Ensure Production Floor is SQF ready EVERYDAY o Follow all safety and OSHA polices and report any issues or violations immediately to a supervisor.
o Prevent cross-contamination by following all policies and procedures.
