Summary:
This position is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to parts manger.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Service Parts:
Work alongside parts manager to enter and update parts orders.
Interact with customers on telephone and computer to backup parts order entry.
Prepare quotes for customers per the instructions of manger.
Perform pricing update on quotes.
Recondition order entry and ordering.
Parts order lookup using manuals and websites.
Returns:
Work with customer, parts manager, warehouse manager and accounts receivable to enter and follow up on any active parts returns.
Generate a return inside parts sales software for all customer parts returns.
Follow up on open returns with customers and discuss any issues with parts manager.
Communicate the status of returns with all parties involved in order to keep process moving.
Report critical issues to parts manager.
Back Orders:
Generate and follow up on all open parts and recondition orders currently on back order.
Generate back order report using sales software of current back orders.
Contact vendors in order to obtain current status of order.
Report results to parts manager.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
Have the ability to work and contribute to a team atmosphere, possess good customer relationship, and personnel management skills.
Working conditions:
Requires the employee to report to the TSP Liberty campus daily.
Normal hours are 8:
00 am-4:
30 pm Monday-Friday.
