Plant Mechanic - Liberty, SCJob
Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Tech will perform a variety of semiskilled trades for the maintenance support of the TaylorMade Liberty plant.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provides quality work, while meeting timelines and project completion dates.
Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed.
Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenitiesClean windows and glass doorChange of all filters for HVAC as requiredPrepare classrooms for incoming classes; remove or rearrange furniture for events or classes, as neededRemove and properly dispose of all recyclable materialsChange light bulbs, interior and exterior, as neededMake ready all classrooms, studios, dorm as neededOn call maintenance for all facilities, 24/7Oversee service that provides trash removal and cleaning of dorms at end of school yearMaintain exterior property, including snow removalAssist with all show installs/removalsOversee daily trash removal, restocking/cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming, cleaning/disinfecting tables and counters, cleaning exterior entryway/cigarette receptacles, graffiti removal, cleaning/polishing/floor maintenance for elevators, cleaning/disinfecting community surfaces (hand rails, water fountains, vending machines, etc.
)Performs other work related duties as assignedMust be able to work flexible hoursBe motivated and work safely and productivelyUnderstand LOTO procedures
Qualifications:
High school education or equivalentBasic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentryMust demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service orientedMust be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task1-2 years experience in a related fieldPhysical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSignMay be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified aboveMust be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areasMust have full range of motion consistent with ageMust be able to climb and maintain balance ladders Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces Safety/Steel toe shoes are requiredNotice to prospective employees:
